GREAT SUCCESS OF SERBIAN CHESS AT THE 45TH CHESS OLYMPIAD

The men’s chess team of Serbia took 5th place (2nd-6th place), and the women’s team took 25th place at the just-ended 45th Chess Olympiad in Budapest
The silver medal was won in group A (1. China, 2. Serbia, 3. Armenia).
Velimir Ivić took the bronze medal for his score on the 5th board.
This Chess Olympiad became the biggest in chess history, with 188 teams in the Open and 169 teams in the women’s section.
